Now using the whole "aliens did this" as a explanation as to how this was done is a complete scapegoat because these guys have no other answer.. BUT the actual making of these stones has to make you wonder, WTF?!?! It's is just absolutely crazy how much we really don't know. This show is very good except that they always allude to fuckin' aliens in order to explain the wonders of the world.

There's a theory that's quite simple and pretty much proven for the interlocking stones and straight lines at Machu Pitchu (Peru). They cut the stones to fit as close as they could using measuring then placed them together one at a time which produced the usual uneven seams between stones but because the walls had to withstand earthquakes they rubbed a rope saw down between each two stones untill they could be slid together perfectly.
