ok,
when i try to download the 1.61 patch from battlefield194 2.com,
it opens the file but then soon as its done opening, it says Battlefield 1942 setup could not be found.


any way i can fix this problem?

Re download it or make sure bf1942 is installed or that the reg key for it was not altered or deleted.

I need some help,

I Installed the 1.61 patch to check out the 1.61 *mafia* server.
Now I want to get back on the 1.6 *mafia* server. How can I
uninstall the 1.61 patch without having to RE Install the whole game??

Can annyone help me on this??

Just get the patch switcher:

http://www.mafiaowns.com/files/file_info/download.php?file=PatchSwitcher_1.0.exe

That way, you can have both patches installed and switch back and forth.  You download the file, open & run it, select option "1" for 1.61, or option "2" for 1.6.  It does a bunch of quick stuff, then you open Battlefield and BOOM - there's the patch you selected.
