I used to like working with oil pastels when I was in high school doing art. I'll try and dig up some pics.

Anyone know of a site were I can customize the size when uploading a image and is able to upload a image that is 500 mb big? nvm found one.

It looks kinda unfinished so its hard to say but one showing the whole border would be best eventually. Hmm [IMG] tags don't work on your link for some reason next time you'll be probably best off using Photobucket or something.

I'd add some colored hieroglyphics on the pot and on the ceiling, color her eye in, add detail to the clothes and make the snakes mouth open. If its to look anything like your background reference I think it needs more stuff going on.

Just my opinion anyway.

FUcking forums that because I didn't use the direct link i used my web browser url.

Also You can't do much detail with pastels stix unless I had a some fine pointed pastel pencils which no art store here has since no one buying pastels really.
