It just depends on what you're looking for or what you're trying to accomplish.  They're basically the same other than the color.  The 2nd one caught my eye.

ill change the name to death and use it as my sig, but i thought the grey looked kinda outta place. ill slap a border on the second one to see if it tones down the blue

Ignore all other comments before mine.

The first one is much better than the second.  The blue color filter in the second one just smears everything and makes it blurry.  The only thing I can suggest right now on the first one is a different font.  If you need another font, go to www.dafont.com or www.1001fonts. com.  You should also consider manipulating the font so it flows better with the picture.

hmm i already know those sites but my main problem is font. Creativity/Placement etc..thanks mez
