Pine trees go up so easily. I flicked a butt under one in the yard this summer and it went up like a roman candle in seconds. Very scary!!! It was linked to a row of seriously big 50-60ft pines and If they caught, the fire would have spread through the whole neighbourhood. Luckily the hose was near and I got it under control but things could have so easily turned for the worse. We have a crappy plastic christmas tree indoors because pine needles are such a bitch to clean up.
