i did a factory restore of my comp (ctrl+ f11 wen restarting) i still have microsoft office and shit to reinstall but im curious if thats hard, i have the discs "office home and student 2007"
but there are discs "dell e197fp lcd flat panel monitor, drivers and html user documents" "and roxio creator" shud i put those discs in and install bcuz unlike the other ones that are in the box they say "already installed"
so i have to install the microsoft discs, then do i have to re-install the drivers cd and roxio?

xp or vista?
vista, desktop right click>Graphics properties>display settings>resolution.
at least for me.
NVM,changed the topic from resolution to programs.

I never had to reinstall any of my drivers for my monitors. I always just plugged them in and they worked just fine. I even put a Dell Monitor onto a Gateway computer without having to install anything and it worked just fine.

Well if the monitor works, I don't think you need to worry about the driver CD. And I'm Pretty sure roxio is a video editor of some kind, so you should be able to install that later.

My Viewsonic monitor had to have up to date drivers. It still worked, but I ran into issues that were bothersome.
This is why you keep all your programs backed up somewhere.

Plug n Play.
I feel so smart today!
