I loaded the cd and went through the installation process. Now after the 20 minutes it took, there is no icon or any proof of existance of it on my computer. If it helps, im running vista 64-bit premium and 6 gigs of ram. This thing has everything and its grandma to run the game, but I just can't find the bugger. I tried running it straight from the autorun, but it just freezes up when I click play solo/coop or multiplayer. How did I fuck this up?

You always find a way.

It's vista right? It installs games in the Games folder instead of Program Files...start -> Games and it might be there. You probably tried that but whatever.
-
unless Call of Duty means MahJong in Vista's language, it's not in the games section, or in the entire search area.
I'll bug with this later, right now I want to install 42 and enjoy this new comp.

the biggest thing i can assure is that bf isnt for 64 bit windows?!?!?!?!

Maybe it's your video card? Is there an onboard one running that isn't compatible with the game?
-
Installation fixed, game installed, game runs...at 1 frame a second. Time for a real video card. Who wants to lend meeester $80
-
Better hope to god you have a PCI Express or PCI Express 2.0 bus on your mother board. I'm stuck playing on a ATI Radeon X1300 with 256 MB RAM video card because I only have a regular PCI Bus.
-
What motherboard do you use?

good ol store bought, looks good has some good specs. but its all integrated lol...

Ive got the ports for hte card, dont worry. What I lack is the cash. Dropping $800 for a comp with added 3 year warrenty hurt my wallet bad.

you could have built it for way less.

you could have built it for way less.
Owned! Care to see if you can build me a new computer under $500?
-
take my advice...dont do it. Its a scam.
-
cpu parts are falling a lil, they sell quad cores down here for ( around ) 100 to 178
mother boards are around 123- 300
ram is cheap
psu is cheap
so still way better than store bought
for like 480 to 550 a sweet system CAN be built for less
