Title: CRT Monitor Issue

Whenever my family alt tabs out of a game, or go into a game, the screen goes blank occasionally. To fix the issue I have to cut off the monitor for 10-15 seconds.

I rolled back the video card's drivers, and once that didn't help I updated it to the last current one, which also didn't help.

It's a 3-5 year old 19 inch Envision crt monitor.

Does anyone have any experience with crt monitors, or my issue in general?

I may go into it and see if anything is wrong, but that will probably be a last resort.

they just wear out, start thinking about replacing it.
