Just watched it... So many people were there. It was good but the beginning was slow. A lot of special effects.

The world kinda ended when the dinosaurs got wiped out but some life remained so that doesnt really count. Many scientists believe though that the world has ended loads of times before wiping out all life and its just a natural cycle of the Earth.

Its still very interesting how the Mayens discovered this date i personally think they are slightly off in the year, but then again they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329 days. being thousands of years ago they were only slightly off so pretty impressive...
