Sorry but the information you requested is classified.  You may reinquire after a thorough mental reprogramming and a sight but invasive procedure known as an Adda-dicktome.  Until then consider this topic off limits.

freaking funny, Steve.  But you must acquiese the info in order for "us" to understand the male expectations and in order for "us" to behave in a manner to complament the expectation.  NO?

Read this.  I think it'll clear up some stuff about what a guy wants.

I only expect a few things out of women.

1. have my next beer ready, or whatever I am drinking
2. be ready for sex
3. have my dinner ready
4. atleast think about brining your friend into the bedroom, don't shut the idea completely out
5. have a good job and spoil me

I think that is it.  If I think of anything else I will edit.

Women are the creatures, and I use that word losely, more like concetrate evil, but women are the things that are hard to understand.  You want us to pick a place to eat, then you complain about it.  Want us to dress nice, but not nicer then you.  I mean wtf???

From my perspective, the only things I care about in a woman are:

1) Can you be around them for long periods of time?

I've had girlfriends where I couldn't stand to be with them for more than a couple of hours.  Be it due to them talking about stuff I don't care about, I'm more interested into watching the game, or if they're just annoying after so long.  The one I have now (we've been dating for over 2.5 years), we hang out, go running, play sports, play video games, everything.  In short, there has to be a connectivity of personalities.

2) What do they look like?

What they look like tells you a lot about a girl.  For example, if they wear lots of make up, they're obviously sensitive about the way they look, which is a big turn off for guys.  Guys don't dig low self-esteem.  Their body type is another.  If they're toned and in shape, it tells you that she has self-respect and she cares about her body and herself.

3) How do they interact around people?

A big issue with girls is that they get jealous over the dumbest things.  They'll hold grudges against other girls for the rest of their lives over gossip or a stolen boyfriend in high school.  Males like it when a woman acts the same way and has the same personality, whether it be home alone together or out hanging with friends.

Aside from that, it's all personal taste.  Hope that helps MG.

There is no basic, every man looks for different stuff, sometimes those things you have listed are in what a man thinks he needs to know and sometimes they are not. I don't see how anyone can generalize what men look for. I mean I definately don't look for the same things that Bob looks for, he is gay and I am straight.

The basic need of man is to:

1.  Know who they are. (identity)
2.  Know what they do. (occupation)
3.  Know how much they make.  (earnings)

Is this true...and if not, what is it..  please dont state the obvious sexual innuendo here.  Thanks, we will be waiting for your answers.

#1 is true.
#s 2 and 3 can be true, but not necessarily.
That's my opinion.

Yep, but most their balls haven't dropped yet and the some that have should have had them cut off long ago.

Money and sex are the only real factors. Don't believe me? What is the point in going to school for most people? To get a good job eventually. If not, everyone would be homeless virgins.

I have to agree especially because MOST men need money to have sex.

But the special ones have sex for money.

Either way..... when money is being exchanged for sex, there is usually always a male involved.

all very good replies...(with the exception of Mano)  O0

More:  Seems that if men do not have a solid self image (identity) they are incapable of having a meaningful relationship with a woman.  (or man in sgt. bob's case  :) )

And, it seems that if men are uneasy in their identifiable occupations (what they do)  they are unable to commit to a marriage/relationship due to the lack of security because they have an innate need to protect.
And finally, men need to have worked out their income situation (how much they make)  because they have an innate need to provide for their female and progeny.

So..if any of these is out of whack, then the male/female relationship suffers.

IS ANY OF THIS TRUE???  The women and I (from my staff) are curious...

I will tell you this. I have a very solid self image of myself and I can have a meaningful relationship, however, I will never get married again.  I don't need a peice of paper to tell me who I should, if I chose to, be faithful too.  That shit is just another way the man tries to keep us down.  LOL.  No but really, a divorce is way to much time, effort and money.  Marriage isn't worth it.

it all boils down to money... the more you have. the hotter of a babe you can get. you say "I DO" then she says "I DIVORCE" and walks away with your money, house, etc and another man.

people's morals are all founded on money, since the dawn of the human race. it's an age old question, wealthy people, ask the poor. there is no real answer, since money. "wealth" wasn't in the original mix.

but i can say, poor people do have the best relationships, and the rich have the poorest. when money "wealth" is not an issue people seem to get along, better in a relationship, then that of their wealthier counterparts.

it's a matter of problems, for men and woman, but the greatest problem of all, is money. self differences are a cause as well, the lack to change for the, others benefit.

hope it helps.

i know my morals arent founded on money. Every guy is different MG. You cant say every guy in the world needs to know their identity, their occupation, and their income. Every guy wants different things.

According to Steve Harvey's book, "Act like a lady, think like a man": The basic need of man is to:

1.  Know who they are. (identity)
2.  Know what they do. (occupation)
3.  Know how much they make.  (earnings)

Is this true...and if not, what is it..  please dont state the obvious sexual innuendo here.  Thanks, we will be waiting for your answers.

I think the basics are:

1) Identify what you like and don't. Form an opinion towards everything over time and stick to it.
2) Make an effort to keep long proven friends(even assholes can prove to be loyal friends when you need them)
3) Have a car(doesn't matter what kind)
4) Have a job(doesn't matter what job)
5) Have your own place(doesn't matter where you live)
6) Have a steady partner/spouse(ugly or beautiful, intelligent or dumb it doesn't matter aslong as there's not much effort involved spending time together)
