Hes lucky he didn't get shot... That cop would have done what ever to stop that running around so he didn't die right there on the field.
But all in all, I am not going to say it was excessive force, but the runner wasn't doing anything but stopping the game, he wasn't hurting anyone... With that said, I am in the middle, no charges to the runner or the cop, call it even.

Yeah, I'd say he's lucky he didn't shot, especially since the failed bombing on Times Square.

lol wut? That has nothing to do with someone running on the field during a game. It's not equivalent to a failed bombing attempt, people try to run on the field all the time.
verdict: Excessive force but still a dumb thing to do.

LOL freeze tag. You would think they would have more security to chase him down or corner him. It looked like there was only one security personal all the rest were the field crew, if they had more security then they wouldn't have had to us the tazer. Agree with Loaded, that guy should be in better shape.

Where was the taser then? Oh, they just got owned by the entire team.
Here's what happened to them: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/news/2003/08/06/ligue_probation_ap/

If I was that guard, I would have thought him to be a terrorist, but that's just me. I also assume this happens a lot with American Football? Don't think I've ever seen it with football, but I don't really watch sports.

We knew before you posted that sentence.

cops break the laws everyday, do as they please. and get away with it. cops in the us are getting to be like cops from 3rd world countries. and it will keep going on until the people have had enough. and the sad fact of it all, most cops don't even know the real laws.
