What a sink hole. That thing looks deeeeep!(echo) Disasters always happen to people in South America they must be getting used to it. Notice there's no barriers or warning cone's to divert the on-comming traffic. Local taxi drivers in 30 hand Volkswagon Beetle's listening to very loud samba music are driving to their death's as we speak.  ;D

There's no need for the cones as the whole area was evacuated. If you had the job of putting traffic cones, would you risk your life to put them there next to that huge hole? Probably not.

Its real like has been stated here. That 1st pic is just one of the those pics that the lighting isn't helping to understand how deep it is (it looks like a black hole going down forever). If I saw correctly, it is 200ft (?) deep and there is a 3 story building in that hole. I am sure when someone has the nerve to take them, they will post better photos looking down.
