Have DOA look into it, j/k
Did you try plugging it into your main speaker jack? Also what kind of sound card do you have, if you tell me it is on the board, you are not going to fix it because I bet you are getting feed back off the board.
-
yah i tried plugging it into my speaker jack didint work and as for sound card if i said i didint know would you be bale to tell me how to check lol?
-
just get speakers and then put the headset on and then turn the speakers up loud it will be like you are listening through the headset. that should work.

Check the sound settings in BF2... I only played the demo so I don't remember them... Go down 1 less in quality and see what happens there.
About the sound card... If you have a card it will be in one of your PCI slots and the plugs will be in a line, if you don't have a card then the plugs will be side by side in rows or 2 or 3s (most boards).

To find out what sc you have go to "start, run, type in (dxdiag) no (),click ok,goto sound tab, look in upper left side of window and read that information off to us.
-
i dont have a soundcard QQ i guess its time to buy one eh?
-
Yes you should have a card... Do what Bone said and let us know (go to sound 1 if you have more then 1 sound tab)... I also posted in your other thread... Reinstall you sound drivers or see if there is a update for them.
-
when i do the DXdiag and go to sound it shows Device blank and Driver blank
-
Well then reinstall your sound driver or your card is going bad.
Open your case and see what card you have (read the chip name and version) if not you can always take it to a repair shop and let them fix it or you can find someone who knows more about them to fix it.
