just saw this shit an hour or so ago fucking movie is great IMO everyone should go see it...! the romance part is sorta of corny but its a good overall movie!

It's a political philosophy movie created by the same people that made the matrix. I thought it was "ok" nothing special, doesn't even compare to the matrix.

Yeah, I heard that it is supposed to be an allegory to the Iraqi War / Bush Administration . I haven't seen it so I can draw any connections to give as examples, though.

yep, it mostly is that. I like how the supreme dictator in the movie parallels hitler during his insane public speeches. Overall good movie, i thought it was well done, then again i like those type of flicks.

Me being a DC comics fan in the past, i know why this comic was made :) The comic was made alittle after world war 11 and then published some time after, then alittle later due to its popularity it was put into book form. And now this movie. I personally think its retarded..

The movie is actually about AIDS, not Iraq or Bush or Hitler (seriously). I didn't think it was very good.

I guess it could be interpretted as different things. Everyone sees things differently after all. It's either really good or really bad that its meaning changes with the current events of the day. Ah well, I should probably see it before I say any more.

i've played the demo of that game and it seemed pretty cool

acutally it was gay, and i mean that. there was a story of a lesbo, and gay men getting beaten. At the end of the movie i was like WTF, cause ive heard so many good things about it that i thought that couldnt have been it, but then white letters came rolling down the page, and i thought to myself "Some people have no taste in good movies what so ever!" but there was maybe 2 good scenes, one of which was very cool.

So far, I've gathered that this is a gay film where Hitler and Bush are lovers who get the AIDs in Iraq. Fascinating. Can't wait to see it now! ;)

Bush dies from the AIDs and Hitler starts a relationship with Sadaam. Sadaam isn't as good of a lover as Bush is, but he can provide the life that Hitler wants. It's quite touching.

Homosexuals are kidnapped and imprisoned, used as lab rats, killed via AIDS. V is one of them (a homosexual), blows up the prison/laboratory, and holds a vendetta against the government. Blah blah blah.
That's how I CHOSE to view it. I don't actually know what it's about other than a rehashed 1984 story. I was high when I saw it, and killing off homosexuals with AIDS made a lot of sense to me at the time. Not that it's an appealing idea - it's not - It's just how I made sense of the movie. Thinking about it in relation to President Bush could possibly the puniest interpretation ever. Talk about boring yourself to tears.
