Title: An Inconvenient Truth
Post by: mulletike on June 16, 2006, 08:06:38 PM
I am probably going to get some more hippie hug the trees bull, but I recently went to see this movie and was blown away and kinda scared for the world by the end.  This isn't some more hippie bullcrap, anyone here seen the movie or have an intelligent opinion on global warming?

Global Warming = Bad

Don't burn wood...... and all of the old glacier ice is melting and releasing more harmful chemicals to the ozone layer which causes a reciprical effect that just keeps on continuing until the point in which we have SOLVENT GREEN and we start eating dead humans and people don't go outside during the day.

I read this thing and said it was a pile of crap, very good as well how it explained it all, how its to do with the earth effecting its self, not us effecting it, and how we cause 0.2% of greenhouse gasses....

I cant remember how it explained it ;)

Yes, science supports that we produce greenhouse gases, and they do affect the climate.  What has yet to be determined is whether or not the amount of gases we produce will have a large effect on climate.  Just like the amount of sodium in Dasani bottled water is negligible amount, our emissions may be negligible, with respect to our climate.

Dasani tastes like crap. I hate bottled water, Fuji is the only kind that tastes normal.

But yeah I heard about that movie, wasn't it an Al Gore movie or something like that.  I will go watch it soon.  I think we all have to stop driving cars.......... like that will happen. but yeah we would get flooded in L.A. since we are like 30ft above sea level.
