well looks like my 1942 days are over. so this is what happened, for some reason when i made my new pc my cd drive wasnt working so well so what i did was transferred 1942 from my laptop to my new comp. i just send all the files from that one to my new pc. now that worked and the game would run and everything but when i was in game i could not use my keyboard, i could only look around. so i erased everything, bought a dvd burner, and tried to install but right away it said an installation support file could not be installed. Catastrophic failure. anyone know what the hell is going on.

like he says, if all else fails, reformat, especially if it's a new comp. If it's new, hopefully you haven't transfered everything over already

Get rid of all that hardcore mexican porn then it will work ;)
Be sure all the system drivers are up to date and make sure you dont have any ! in the device manager. Also see if you have any resource conflics or mail formed drivers.

It could just be driver updates like Bonehead said. I have any HP and its a bitch on driver updates. Try using an older keyboard u have lying around and see if that might work. You never know!
