In the past i've used "Window Blinds" to spiff up my Windows desktop. It's a product of Stardock and part of the Object Desktop suite of programs from Stardock. You can download the shareware version here (http://www.download.com/WindowBlinds/3000-2326_4-10516315.html?tag=lst-0-1). Several skins/themes for "Window Blinds" can be downloaded from here (http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=1&c=1).
