Title: Boondock Saints
Post by: *MAFIA* ßlåkjáx on October 19, 2006, 12:13:14 PM
So I was watching it today, and it made me wonder what the words tatooed onto their hands meant. The words are Veritas, and Aequitas. I searched for them and I found out what Veritas meant, but does anyone know what Aequitas means?

BTW... great great movie, if you havent ever seen it, I suggest buying it. Skip the whole renting shit cause you will want to buy it after you watch it anyway.

If you notice in the movie they use alot of Catholic analogies and prayers. Their given names are similiar in that they are in Latin (the language most Catholic prayers and ceremonies are derived).

Aequetis - Justice

Veritas - Truth
