i know this is goin to start a big discussion but what proccesor is better for my buck. intel or amd. i need one that will do alot but is fairly cheap.

AMD will blow up if you leave your computer on for 24 hours straight.  My friend accidently killed his parents because he forgot to turn it off and it blew up his house.

I'd get the cheapest intel core 2 duo, the E6300 one, pretty good proccesor :)

NO BS! it's the truth!  and if the amd cpu temperature rises above 50° C then it gets angry and starts to shout vulgar words while scratching up whatever CDs are in your cd-rom drives.  Don't shut it off either, once it gets to this phase it's too late.  Just let it fuck up your cds otherwise it will turn into an apocalypse pony and begin the reign of terror upon earth!
