So entered in a legit online Nvidia contest where you can win a Nvidia GeForece 8800 GTS. It was held at a nearby Fry's Electronics along with a Nvidia Reality tour. Anyways, so i entered and guess whose name they called out there. MINE!!! But I wasn't there because of stupid band practice, so I missed it cuz you have to be there to get it. Instead they gave it to some 10 year old kid who probably doesn't play games or has a system capable of running this card. Damit I'm SO MAD. I'm an idiot for going to practice. The card is worth somewhere around $600. Arghhhhh.

yeah it's worth like 550 well the evga ones,  i've seen them, nothing special just more memory in them they are like 768 at gddr3 though.  still doesnt beat 512mb at GDDR4

That is really messed up lol. That 8800GTS card is pretty damn expensive, its the first DX10 card tho, but I'm not getting vista, so no need for a new dx10 card for me :)

Whats better being active and actually doing something your good at and have a chance of being one of the best in state (cali). Or being in your house all day? Just asking becuase i would rather be in my house lol.

anyways, roshan that sux , it really does. I bought a Geforce 6800GS at Fry's as a present, just to realize they have 8800 in stock the day after....gay

How about you all stop ruining threads. Roshan made this thread about him almost getting a nice card. I'm not going to jump on someones ass if they make an off topic post especially if they don't do it often. But its pointless to say that to someone and then do it your self so stop being a hypocrite. So just end it.
