If you can't find the mafia server use this RAR file... Just unzip it and open the .dat file with note pad, now copy and past into your .dat file of the same name... File should be found in the directory below...
C:\ProgramFiles\EAGAMES\Battlefield1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\Custom
IF you have no favorites saved then just add the .dat file in the above directory.

NOTE... Use the above direction I have given, I did not add them to the file.
EDIT... It has come to my attention with post below this file will crash your BF42 game, if you wish to still try it, down load and install at your own risk.

allright pawpaw. but not all players that want to play on our server, knows this. so i guess you are still working on making it show up in game. good work for this btw ;)

Couldn't find it also if i just regularly updated the list. Got the server at my favorite list though there it still shows it up ( It also showed up the mafia misfit server but thats just cause i haven't deleted the server from my list yet... i think )
I think you could also join the server through xifre

For all you noobs out there...
Add the IP manually, then press add to favorites. Then just find the server through your favorites.

THIS WILL MAKE YOUR GAME CRASH!!!! (as soon as you sellect the online menu)
I've re-installed my game 3 times and given a rolling commentary to Hellraiser with the same results everytime PawPaw. It don't work work man.

What profile did you put it in? Do NOT put in Default, Custom only ... I have no clue why it would crash, if you put it the right profile and it still doesn't work I will pull the file.
EDIT... And why in the hell would have to reinstall the game, I don't get... All you have to do is pull the dll from the profile.

lol i had the same problem, you dont have to reinstall it as loaded sayd. just move the dll to your dekstop or something, as i did.

Ok then... I'll strike out the file. I will say sorry, but I did test it on my computer and all was fine, there must be something in the code that makes it work fine for me and not you all. Sorry.

Your right, me re-installing had nothing to do with the .dat file. I thought if I re-installed I might be able to see our server on the list but it seems no and it took 3 times cos I had 2 bad installs cos I didnt re-boot or delete the correct files or something, ah well.
Anyways I found I can join the server through RM so I'm a happy bunny wooooo.

This is how I got connected and I not even a noob. And speaking of noobs does anybody know where I can download an application to apply for a degree in noobology?. I'd like to go the their bootcamp but it seems they're all filled up right now.
