Hey guys i just wanna warn u all dont click on the Link from Yesterday
at 11:22:13pm / 11:21:59 / 11:21:31   caze its a virus

just want to let yall know

Assume that is your time setting, meaning that isn't the time on everyones computer. In any case, is this from the shout box?

I will removed the links in the box anyhow to be safe.

I've come across that virus before. If you click the link never click any of the options or try to close the window just go to windows task manager and end task on your browser. Otherwise that fake anti-virus advert will keep popping up and your home page will keep writing itself to that advert even if you change it back. The only way then is to backdate your computer a day and that seems to stop the pop-ups.

Well lucky for me I wont click anything from a person (or in this case non person) I don't know.

But i used task manager like dune said, ive come across it before.

Is this the same link that one of a our members had in their sig? you would click their sig and 100s of pop ups would load and like what was said you could only stop it with TM. If so, it really isn't any type of virus, it is just a pain in the ass program.

It wasn't a virus IMO it was just a link that opens many pop ups (i knew better then to click it). Sorry I didn't save the info.

Who posted it... A guest, Ip came back to no one here. Guest can no longer post in Shout.

No... that bothered me. If you can find a way to stop guest from posting, but they can still see it, please do.
