Here's where I live in Leeds. It's very cosmopolitan in the city (lots of clubs, bars, restaurants shoppin etc) but if you drive just a few miles out your in endless countryside and you can do pretty much what ever the hell you want cos there's no police or anything for a 100 miles.

it's definitely not a big town, but on vacation times (usually best time to go to the beach) is ruined by all the people who immigrate to Pismo from Bakersfield. When the Bakos aren't there, Pismo is pretty fucking fun.

That picture has the best place to get clam chowder bowls......... ...splash cafe! as well as nicks bbq,pierside cafe,the tshirt shop/pool hall and the pier but its missing the dunes!

Boston is a wonderful medium/large city with lots to do and the best sports teams, and Panama City is a nice small town that has beautiful beaches (with the exception of hurricane season).

I've been there before, beautiful place, but it's like 4 or 5 hours away from L.A. itself. Santa Cruz is closer to San Jose, and not too far from San Fransicso.

Ah, San Pedro is basically in Long Beach, which is really, really close to where I live... Palm Springs is next to Riverside County, about an hour or two away. Both are close. Palm Springs is nothing but desert and hottness though. San Pedro has the nice ocean view and cruise boats.

I live in Leeds, it used to be the definition of yorkshire(in England) and a prosperous market town but its identity kinda dissolved when yuppies and imigrants turned it into this city it now is. Now unemployment is strife even if you have qualifications there's a good chance you'll wind up earning crap and doing shit jobs. The flags hanging from the balconys means their sons and daughters are fighting overseas. All said and done, I love where I live and apologies for the christian rock music.

Well I'll try to add videos later, but I can just explain some of it right now.
I live in Sunnyvale, one of the cities in the Bay Area of California. It's also known as Silicon Valley. Most of the technology you see or use is developed and created here. All the major tech companies are located in Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and San Jose.
The Apple company is located about a 5 minute drive from my house. AMD is right across from the place where I work at. National Semiconductor is right behind there. OCZ is 2 buildings down from there.
My college is in San Jose, which is probably the biggest area for all these companies. Yahoo, Adobe, Ebay, Cisco are located there. Here's (http://www.wayfaring.com/maps/show/4358) a list of all the major ones near this area.
It's really cool to live here but the downside is that everything here is really expensive. A normal sized house with like 3 bedrooms would mostly start around $950,000.
Landmark wise, there are many amazing things to see nearby. If you go to San Francisco, which is about 30-45 mins away, you'll find the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and gays. Stanford University has a linear particle accelerator.
