Title: FireFox 3 is ready, it is faster.

Not sure when it came out, but FireFox 3 is ready for down load (this could be old news)...

If you are running anything below 3, you will not automatically update to 3. FF only updates the version that is running.

I can honestly say this, v3 has to be 2x faster the v2 and below, I am somewhat shocked at the extra speed seen by just a upgrade of/to a browser.

Yea I downloaded this a couple days ago, it's pretty nice. One of the biggest problems for Firefox was that it was a huge memory hog in the past. I think they have fixed that now.

i forgot not everyone has firefox as there homepage still though.

Firefox is good for one thing...stream ing videos. Everything else use Explorer, its way more user friendly.
