I can already tell this is going to suck.

It's only for Windows Vista and Mac OSX. No XP support!!! WTF?!?!?!

It's similar to blizzard getting rid of LAN games in their upcoming games to prevent pirating, I think EA may think this will help prevent pirating in a different way.

Yes you will get admin. Send a PM to this member (http://www.mafiaowns.com/index.php/action,profile/u,1058.html) and ask him for admin also. He will help you set up admin to our other game servers also.

Agreed.  What kind of RTS doesn't have LAN support?  That's one of the biggest incentives for them.

And you make your statement that Vista sucks at the same time you are pissed there is no XP support, where is your Vista you are bitching about?

99% of the people that say Vista sucks, never have even used it and are just repeating what they have seen on the net by other ass-hats that have never used it.

I use it and love it, I have zero problems with the OS.

In any case, Win7 will be old by the time this game comes out for the PC, now for that yes EA sucks... Xp will be 2 OS old at that time (by the way Win7 will have full XP support in the back ground).

I've already problem with the bf2 on my comp, and now if Xp cannot support it, it sucks. :o

I think most people's complaints are because they use it with computers that they bought at a cheap price and that barely meet the minimum requirements for the OS.  I have it on my current computer (albeit it's an expensive and high-powered computer) and it runs fine.  It does have some compatibility errors, but most can be fixed by running a program in compatibility/administrative mode.

Only reason i don't like vista is the poor support for older games. Tons of workarounds for it, but it's a pain in the ass trying to get FH1 to work on it, and it constantly has shader problems in FH2. Plus it hogs up RAM and is just an interface that i'm not used to working with.

I agree with you Wasser, i must say Vista is way better in alot of things if you compare it with XP. For the games you'd better get XP.

Besides DX10 is the future for faster/smoother gaming.  Time to upgrade homos!
