Can anybody recommend me a good laptop? I don't know all that much about computers, but i'm looking for something that will handle stuff like word processing, media, simple gaming, and be able to run music and photo editing software. Also, it should have a webcam. Any suggestions? I'm looking to stay as cheap as possible here.

Looks like a good deal to me (though I dont' know all that much about laptop pricing). Don't expect to do much gaming with it though. Minesweeper and maybe an older game like 1942, but to play modern games on a laptop you'll need to go significantly up in price.

almost 500 bucks for a lappy that only lasts "up to 3 hrs"? Doesn't sound so great to me, check out the ones they've got at www.frys.com or www.newegg.com
That'll be your best bet for quality products.

Didnt go with that one, but instead got an HP Pavilion Dv5. I've been using it and it seems to do pretty much everything i need it to do. Battery life sucks though. Just need to get a wireless connection.
