(I've had two more key scratches added to my car since I bought it last September, this might also be a pain since I read I have to hardwire it in so parking mode works)
I'm not sure what would be the stock yet, probably something under a $100 so I can buy multiple.

Is someone keying your car or are they just scratches....t hat seems like a lot for a camera in the car, unless you plan on going home and watching how you drove that day, or want to have it just in case or whatever. Does it even run when the car's not on? I don't know much about stock. I'd get the laptop.

I ended up going with laptop and glad I did. They messed up on my order and gave me a better one for same price of $761

The dash cam would work when car is off, and ya I only have liability insurance as well so it would also be a just in-case.
That is why it requires hardwiring to my understanding, so it won't waste the battery when the car is parked.
