Well, the Title says it all.I have lost everything on my computer that was not backed up(which is everything) I'm Might go buy a new one in a few min's but that means alot of work restoring my comp to where it was before.I need all the basics..The patches, Graphic and picture editing programs (not gonna drop any names) etc,ect.If you all could lend me a hand as far as links to these programs and whatever else you think i may need I would appreciate it.

by "backing up" you guys mean putting your shit on a DVD, or clicking the "backup" button in system restore?

When I say "backup" I generally mean to put the items you want to backup on removable media i.e. DVD, CD, Flash Drive, Carving of the binary code into phantoms ass... e.t.c.

Try using maxtor drives misfit, that is what I have always used, and have yet to have a failure.

Just buy an external hardrive and put all of your back-up stuff on there. I think that would be the easiest if you ask me.
