1. I cant see the shoutbox, is this just me?
2. I went into vent, ive got a mic and I speak. what's wrong? Im as staticy as fuck. What can i do to fix this?

The shoutbox needs to load, be patient.
Is your mic new? Is it plugged in the right place? Do you have a "staticy" voice?

Just kidding, I am having problems seeing the shoutbox also. I thought I heard someone say that it was going to be diabled.

try going to volume control (click the volume button in your toolbar) and make sure your mic box is not set to mute. Also make sure that you have a push-to-talk key, and select your mic for the output option in ventrilo setup.

Make sure you speak English, then it might work.
First of all, make sure the mic is plugged in the proper jack. Then make sure it is whatever mic u r using that is set as the mic, and not some other random product. Like Wasser said, make sure your components are not muted. Keep your mouth about a foot or two away from the mic. Sometimes being way too close to it can screw it up. Then in Vent, also make sure the device you want to listen with and talk with are selected in the input output section.

I'm seeing the same problem as you with the shoutbox.
I would go on ventrilo and what not, but my connection here is so slow that I'm forced to being stuck on the forums and not much further unless I go home and use the internet there.

I can't see shoutbox too and I was on main page for 30 min no load and it's not my computers cause I tried both.

Oh well.. at least my windows washer doesn't have to delete 15000+ temporary internet files at the end of the week ;)

Thanks, ive got the static solved. It was in the wrong slot.
I do speak english... just ill stop halfway through a sentance sometimes because i wont know something :P
And finnaly, i was on vent all last night, and only boemann came on. GET URE ASSES ON VENT YA'LL!

its a dell. Anything can go wrong.
(I had it in a orange slot, usauly that works as the mic slot. Turns out its the blue one. Thankyou, you can close this now)

hey just so you know. when you want to have sex, put your penis into the pink slot. i mean you can always put it into the brown one, but you might get into trouble.

Get on during the right time, we're something like 8 hours behind you. Either stay up really really late or get up really early.
