Yo,

I finally did what I promised myself last year when I bought my first pc: UPGRADING.

I've just ordered these new parts:
-E6600 Core 2 Duo
-Point Of View 8800 GTS 320mb version
-2gb DDR2-5300 (667Mhz) Kingston RAM

Woot!

Old pc specs:

Intel® Celeron® D 351 (Boxed, FC-LGA4, "Prescott", 3200 mhz)
Asrock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 (Retail, FireWire, RAID, Gb-LAN, Sound, ATX)

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (S775, 2x2.4GHz, 4MB, 1066MHz FSB, Boxed)
Asrock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 (Retail, FireWire, RAID, Gb-LAN, Sound, ATX)
Kingston 2GB DDR2 (2x1GB) PC5300 667Mhz CL5 Dual Channel Kit (KVR667D2N5K2⁄2G)
Point of View GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB DDR3 (PCI-e, 2x DVI)
Samsung SpinPoint P80SD (Bulk , HD160JJ, S-ATA2)
LiteOn 16x DL R/W AT (Bulk, zwart)
400W powersupply atm (2 12v+ rails) but thats going to be replaced with a coolermaster iGREEN 500W I think :)

Haha, this is no wasted money

Thought I got 2 questions. Should I back my pc up (don't know if installing new stuff fucks the pc up or not)?
And the way to replace videocards is: uninstall old driver-->plugout old card --> plug in new card --> install new drivers     right?

I hope they deliver the parts in applepies, I'm kinda tired of baking them all day lol.

Hey a windmill for cooling them parts should be good :D

Woot I got the upgrades today :D. I installed them right away ofcourse and my pc runs like a charm! Everything on 1280x1024 on every game I play with everything on max settings.

3dmark '06 score: 8574 :)

Yes I 'bought' the professional edittion ;). And its a damn fine program.
