Hey yall i downloaded the patch for Bf2 1.41 so i could play on the ranked servers and keep my stats but i get kicked every game by punkbuster for "No packet flow". Does anyone know how i can fix this??

Go to this site http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.php to see all the files needed for BF2 PB and down load from this page http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php the PBSetup program, your problems will be gone (that is if you "read" everything that you should to understand/use the program).
One last check as well, make sure the programs of PunkBuster as in, "PnkBstrA.exe" and maybe "PnkBstrB.exe" have access to the internet (check your firewall).

Pink, no packetflow means your punkbuster is too new. The servers done have the new punkbuster update so you need to re install BF2.

Like I said above, make sure "PnkBstrA.exe" is allowed on the net by your fire wall. Open it up for "Access" and "Server" and both "trusted" and "Internet" (if you have those options in your firewall).
"if" you want to test that it is your firewall, just turn of the fire wall and try to join a PB BF2 server. Don't worry, it is highly unlikely you will get some type of attack on your system for the few minute test.
Don't forget to check your router if using one, it also has to let PB out to the net.

Sorry I can't believe that, all servers should auto update and be updated "faster" then the client computer. And telling someone to reinstall BF2 because of PB problems is not the correct path for someone to take.

Happens to me once in 42. Thanks to that stupid punkbuster program I downloaded. Pbsetup.run or something

Well this isn't BF42 (different PB files) and really you should be sure of the program you had problems with before telling someone to reinstall a game and reinstalling most likely will "not" fix the problem.

Well sorry then I can't help you, I can't come there and turn your firewall off for you and I am 99% that is your problem. Take the time and learn how to control your firewall, you will have less problems in the future.

right click on your firewall, and hit "disable"

If you are 100% sure you are letting PB out to the internet (again, remember if using a router, it also has a firewall)... Go into BF2 and change your connection speed one setting higher. If it is at 128k go up to 256k, in other words go "up" one more in speed and see if that helps.

I think you need to disable your noob setting on your computer.

Yeah i am pretty sure my PB is getting through my router, because i played all the time on the old version of Bf2 and it would occasionally kick me like once a month, but now that i updated to the new version it kicks me every time i get on

do ya already fixed it . or do u still need help by fixing .. caze i had the same prob. its very easy to fix !
