I put a lot of thought in the WD Blue HDD...  I somewhat regret not going with the Black series, but after watching some Youtube videos about storage drives, I decided to go a little cheaper.   I really didn't even want it. This computer is in my man cave and it'll really only have a few games on it. My laptop is my primary computer for work, music, pics, etc.

@ Malbert ....  I'm not for sure what to call it, but it was well beyond calling it "Owned"  I still feel like a idiot..:)  .. I was brain locked and wasn't even thinking of planes.  You got me tho.

I'm going to buy BF3 Premium today online.

Well here it guys... I finally hit the "Check Out" button at Newegg.  Thanks for all the help and advice.  Although.. Scooby be prepared to offer some free tech support since you're the one that talked me in to a self build  :thinking.   I honestly think the only hard part is when I have to venture in to the Bios to set up the hard drives and the optical drive.  I know there might be a lot of "would've and should've in this build, but it's what I've got and I'm tired of messing with it.

Scooby..  Here's what i'm coming up with now after being educated by you a little.  I think this build is pretty good, and it'll give me plenty of room for future updates. I upgraded to the UD5H Mobo.  I'm going to go ahead buy Windows. ( Don't want the FBI at the front door steps.)   I got the 840 pro series 256gb SSD,  I think I'm just going to stick with this single card for now.  I've got a 40gb HDD in my Dell right now and I still have 21% of  space left in it.   I use my laptop for work/ pics/ data . etc.   I also went up to a 850w power supply (Future upgrades) .

Let me know what you think?   I've watched 20 hours of Youtube on how to build a computer, and it's not hard.  Plus I really looked into Cyberpower's part they use, and eveything seems like pretty low grade compared to what you're telling me to use.

Thanks.

What do you think about this build Scooby.  I added a additional 120gb SSD on top of the 1TB HDD.  I was told to do this for quick Windows start up?????  My 660 ti is only 2gbs.   I'm about $175.00 above your build, but money well spent on my part.

Thanks for the info Scooby,  but does all this stuff come with all screws, bolts and nuts needed to build this?  Yes I've changed out video cards, hard drives before, but never a full build before.  I'm sure I can figure out where everything goes, but if there's a glitch somewhere..I'm screwed.  I'm going to have buy windows 7 too.   I was really hoping you were going to build me one from a site like Cyberpower.  I don't mind spending a extra 2/3 hundred for a plug and play.  I'll just have to put in a extra day of work this month to pay the difference.

Same thought Beatle..    If you wouldn't mind building one Scooby and post a link here on what you think I really need.   I know I said that I wasn't a huge gamer, but if I had a computer that would play more than BF1942...I'll probably start buying some of the newer games and start playing a lot more.  I'd rather have a lot more than needed now, and then a year from now. the games require a lot more power to operate,

This is what I'm probably getting.  It just never seems to end on a build.  I've lost a few auctions on Ebay in the last few seconds, always seems to be that one asshole that out bids me right at the end.  I've got a couple of more auctions I'm watching before I buy this one .  Things seem to sell cheaper during the week vs. weekends on Ebay.

The only thing that sucks about Cyberpower is that it takes a month to get your computer.  The damn thing will be outdated by the time I get it.

Here's one I put together @ Cyberpower.  I had it oveclocked 20% but I'm not really for sure if I added enough cooling???  What do you guys think?

Thanks for the info guys.  I don't mind spending a little more money for something that will run smoothly and last a little longer. I was going to have Cyberpower computers build me one, but their sales department wouldn't help me out on what I needed. They basically told me..If I didn't know what I wanted..How could they know what I wanted !!   I don't want 10x has much as I really need and pay a extra $500.00 for something I'll never need.  I'm having a sprinkler system installed this month..Money is a little tight right now.

Why not just build your own PC from Newegg/Amazon etc.?

9800GT is a shit video card now. The CPU is also kinda slow.

What is your budget? I'll show you what parts to get if you tell me how much you can spend maximum.

It's really not on how much I can spend , but rather what I need to play the game safely and not harming my PC.  I'm not wanting to build a PC myself.  I need a plug and play system.   I understand bigger is better, but I'm not a huge gamer and I just need something that will allow me to play the game.

Here's what I've been eyeballing to buy so I can play BF3.  I'll listen to all suggestion on what's good and bad about this computer.  The only thing I'm not sure about...is what the power supply is???  I was originally going to buy a I-7k computer with all the extras, but decided against it.   If you see a better computer in or around this price range...Please post a link .  I've already got a nice 32" monitor and a great sound system.  I just need a tower.

thanks

Looks as tho that Mafia Tin_Man_  got a good old fashion Foxes ass kick'n. Then he comes back home with his tail shoved up his ass, and the only thing he can think of is ass fuck'n, because Helly and Capkilla put so many bullets up his ass. I personally don't like capkilla either. He kicks me everytime I go on the server, but I can't think of any other reason why you'd post this topic if those two didn't pwnd your ass.

I'm not sure why you can't decide,  but your wife and I found a slab of granite that "agreed" with us and I left her a 12 pack of Manowar dripping from her chin.    :lube:

You must have a little cock, because she came back home.  Call me when it gets a little bigger and I'll send her back. :coolie:
