Well from that I can tell you have a MSI MoBo, but I think that is your south bridge chip (I could be wrong on that), if I am right, no fan or heat sink on that?
Do you smoke? if you do, stop doing it near that computer. It looks like tar all over it.
Down load this http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and take a screen shot of the "Mainboard" tab and post it here.
EDIT... Opps, lol that computer isn't working is it, damn I am old. Look on the board for some writing telling us what it is, it should be on the board somewhere (not on chips).

You could use either one. The one on the right is from a AMD Athlon 64 3500 and the left is from a Opteron 185... What really matters is the series of CPU, in this case the "XP" and that in turn means the mother board needs the correct mount to hold the heat sink.
Look at your heat sink, it should look like the one on the right.
How about this... I have the AMD Athlon 64 3500 and its heat sink. They both would work in your computer. The CPU will give you 3x+/- the speed you have now. Think of a price you would like to spend on a CPU upgrade and I will send it to you (the CPU was used for 8 moths with a "slight" over clock, never a heat problem, I don't OC my stuff to damage it). I replaced the 3500 for the 185. Thank about it.
EDIT... Just to make sure, find your mother board info so we can check the CPU will not be a problem.
Also I have some work to do outside, so I wont be back in for sometime.

Minimum... You know as well as I do that just isn't going to cut it for game play, all sliders to minimum. Min setting is just to get the suckers to buy the game that don't know any better.
Recommended... Same thing, not going to cut it, you're lucky to be able to run the game on middle settings. Again, Suckers, thinking they are going to max out the game with Rec hardware.

Unless my wewe Opteron 185, 2g ram and 8800gt can do something with it... Then for $50 I would give it a try or I could just wait for CP's next $4,000 build and take his left overs (that I am sure will only be 3 months old and cost $4,000 to make back then).

Yep... Takes some skill to get the 1st def gun with the AA, that house on Allied is in the way. The biggest point to most of this, it was me on axis and 3 other players on Allied and they had the 2 lower spawn points too... I was running from both sides to use both Def guns. If only they used teamwork, I would had never been able to last.
What I didn't get, they stayed dead until team balance stopped or they just went back to Allied after being on Axis.
