yes, The $py modded the server, also anKey did some bunkers i think. also Owen/Darkangel modded the 2nd RS-Server which turned into the 1337 server later.

i also think that more than 4 GB is only possible on a 64-Bit system. i'm not really sure, so maybe someone else will help you out.

and if i remember correctly, xp can only handle max 4GB. again not 100% sure.
