I'm sure alot of you have heard of this website, or even have an account. I do not, but many of my friends do. I was reading alot of the posts and it's basically people just bashing each other. Well, I was wondering if there was any possible way to get any information about the "anonymous" user just from their post. Like tracking someone's IP. I'm very curious and I would love to see some people's faces if they were busted. I know alot of you guys are very intelligent with computers (Waffle, Roshan, etc.) and thought you could maybe shed some light on this.

Help / I need some serious help

Last night my computer got completely fucked. Amazingly, the only application I can open is Firefox, which I never use. Whenever I try to open anything else, a little box pops up on my toolbar at the bottom saying:
"Windows Security Alert"
Application cannot be executed. The file ______ is infected.
Do you want to activate your antivirus system?"
But the antivirus software that it wants me to use is not the one I have installed, and it brings me to some bullshit website. So I believe this is actually the problem. I don't know how to get rid of it, I can't get on vent to ask you guys, and I can't check my email. I have about 100 of those boxes now clogging up my toolbar and then every now and then a different one pops up saying my computer is infected.
Another common one is:
(the same as above except it says)
"The file wuauclt.exe is infected"
The antivirus software I have is Avast, which is what Beatle gave me, I believe. And it hasn't failed me until now. I did not get an alarm when this happened, or anything. But I scanned it and it found a trojan horse and malware which I removed. However this has not seemed to help.
I have tried to shut down, but as usual, that doesn't do shit.
I need some help, and fast before my dad flips the fuck out.

Help / Wireless adapter

I just bought an XBOX 360 and I'm in dire need of a wireless adapter. Does anyone know where I can find a good adapter that is relatively small and not too expensive? Used is ok if need be. But I tried Wal Mart and Target, all the prices vary. Maybe RadioShack?

A friend of mine is looking for a banner for his clan for CODMW2. I told him I knew some people that were quite skilled at those kinds of things. The clan name is "Descendants of Ares". He said he wanted something like 2 .50 cals crossed but I told him that was gay. I'm sure Blackout, Dune, Verm, or any other of you guys can think of something better. Remember it's just a banner, so all that is needed is the clan name. Thanks for all the contenders and have at it.

Help / Display driver

When I'm playing BF, about every 60-90 seconds, my screen freezes and then goes black. I can still control my player, shoot, and hear everything, I just can't see anything. It requires me to alt+tab out and then open it again. I'm not sure what sparked this problem, as I use to be able to play normally, but it is now impossible to play BF.
This is the error I get when my screen blacks out.
"DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED RESPONDING AND HAS RECOVERED.
Display Driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
Any ideas?
