So the past 2 or 3 days i've been sick, very sick. I was allowed to miss school today (when my paper was ACTUALLY due but I worked my ass off on it sunday thinking it was due on monday.) but when i wake up, it is really stormy outside. It only lasted for around 10 or 20 minutes but it was pouring rain. I woke up and right when I walk out of my bedroom, I splash into my damp carpet. Our fucking roof is leaking and it just dripps through the attic and right outside my door. So now i'm sick, my roof is leaking, i have to dry off my carpet (lol sex joke) and my sister is crying her eyes out because she is afraid of storms like this. Today isn't looking too bright..

Help / Trouble with the mic

I have everything but my mic set up for vent. When I go to setup to change the outbut device, all i have as options are "default directsound device" and "realtek HD audio rear output". My mic is from Plantronics, so i dont think either of those is it. Any advice?

I'm just wondering, but what if im never on vent but i play on the 1942 server alot? Would that serverly (spelling?) lower my chance at joining or is it unimportant if im regularly on the servers?
