Help / Ram
« on: March 13, 2011, 12:52:43 PM »
Does anyone have any 184pin 1g DDR PC3200 ram laying around that they might wanna ship me? I will you pay you and pay for shipping. I just dont wanna spend 40-50 bucks on a gig of DDR ram (especially because DDR3 is so much cheaper right now) because I will be building a new computer soon and it seems pointless to buy brand new shit if someone has some just layin around. Thanks fellas.

Help / Fuck Punkbuster... again.
« on: February 09, 2011, 10:53:09 PM »
So now that I have a new BF2 key, are there any steps I need to take before trying to play online to keep from getting ban from PB? I don't wanna risk it again... And no, I am not hacking.

The reason I am asking is because I remember when I was hacking a while back, the Helios forums told me to access the site from another computer (or from a browser installed on a flash drive) so PB didn't detect I had been to a hacking site. So I just would like to know if I should take some steps before trying to go online again.

Help / FUCK
« on: February 02, 2011, 12:09:11 PM »
Welp, I turned my computer on today and no monitor or anything and continuos long beeps. So I looked it up and it seems my cpu is fried... Piss out my ass... Anyways, since I am in no financial position to buy a new CPU, nor do I have the time really, it looks like I will only be joining you fellas on the forums once again.

Also, I JUST yesterday bought a new copy of BF2 via Newegg and it should arrive here shortly, so if anyone wants to buy a new BF2 key hit me up.

Help / Using my Mac's wireless to...
« on: January 29, 2011, 02:54:17 PM »
I have been wanting to connect to the internet on my pc via the wireless adapter on my Mac, but after googling my brains out I can't even find a way to do so... I found out how to connect a 360 this way, so I figured it must be possible, right? Anyone know how I can do this or send me to a link that could help? I Just can't seem to find one.

Thanks in advance.

Games / SOCOM 4
« on: January 25, 2011, 03:53:50 PM »
Any Socom fans out there? What do you think this game is gonna be like? I personally think it will be a fun game... But nothing even close nor related to S! or 2. They have pretty must destroyed this series thus far.

I have been posting my concerns on the Socom forums and its seems all but a few people on there are fucking idiots (not that I am surprised). The game looks like its gonna be full of CoD players, wanting another rush-type strategy game... I think the stealth will be very limited and ultimately, it is gonna be far off track from the original game... What a pity.

Help / BF1942 on Mac
« on: January 23, 2011, 12:54:20 PM »
Alrighty, so I "legally" downloaded the game. It came with a bf1942.toast file so I opened and mounted with toast. It mounted fine but when I got to click on the 1942 icon an error pops up and says "There is not enought free space on this disk... Yau need at least 1mb on your hard disk to play this game. Stupid fucking thing is, I have over 130Gb on my HD. So I have no fucking idea how to fix this. I even tried to shut down everything I could running on my HD that was possible and try to run it but nada... Any ideas? I know you all aren't Mac savy but I figured posting couldn't hurt.

Edit... Never mind I got it to work... Now I gotta figure out how to play online...

Flame / HP Tech Support
« on: June 24, 2010, 12:07:24 PM »
It doesn't get much dumber that HP tech support...

-"Hi, I am trying to scan a document from my printer but there is a 'Scan to' option missing on the software."

-"Ok sir, it looks like your warranty is up on that machine. We can have you send  it in to be fixed but it will cost you $64."

-"No the printer is not broken, there is just a little glitch in the software that won't let me scan."

-"Ok sir, the software came with the printer so in order to fix the software and the printer I am going to have to ask for your information so you can be charged and then send it in so we can fix it."

-"How exactly do you 'fix' software? I just need a quick solution to get past this glitch so I can choose an option to scan to in the Solution Center software."

-"Yes I understand, but your warranty is up and in order to fix your printer we need to charge you."

-"Fuck you." *CLICK*
