Who plays? Since i have given up on BF2 I downloaded this yesterday, however I am having even trouble with this fucking mod. When I was installing the part 1 of 2 a couple mins ago, it said that the files in:

 \battlefield2\mods\pr\common_client.zip
                             \vehicles_client.zip
                             \weapons_client.zip

These were corrupted while trying to install part 2 of 2

                         \pr\levels\Korengal\client.zip
                                     \qwai1\client.zip

were all corrupted. I pushed ignore for all of them and was hoping someone could send me via email those five files instead of re-downloading the massive PR installers. If anyone can help me out, send them to liveforpowder@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Help / ANOTHER BF2 Problem...
« on: February 22, 2010, 04:07:04 PM »
So I reinstalled BF2, I was playing online in the original version of the game and just got sick of all the bunny hopping fags, so I installed the 1.41 patch. I checked online and there was only like 3 servers I could play from... So I tried to install the 1.5 patch and this is what it tells me in the middle of the patching...

I have tried to patch this before and I got the same message, so I reinstalled, re-downloaded the 1.41 and 1.5 patches, installed them and it gave me this CRC error AGAIN... WTF???

Help / WTF
« on: January 30, 2010, 02:39:29 PM »
I have been trying to play 1.61 and I keep getting kicked about 2 mins in for "restriction/ memory corruption" or something like that. I am using dazzler and the mafia private hacks. I have been kicked for this before but not every time I go into a server. I am guessing dazzler is the problem, but why is it acting up all the sudden? I quit out of it after I get rid of the fog then get back in game and soon after, boom kicked... Anyone know how to keep this from happening?

Spam / One day...
« on: January 19, 2010, 11:38:39 PM »
One day (when the dollar is worth as much a toilet paper, I'm sure) we shall have a glorious MAFIA, one reformed under the uncorruptable and fearless leaders that make up this clan. Then and only then will we finally realize there are no more noobs playing BF1942 to pwn all day anymore... and that dream will die. Cheers to that day, and may it never come.

Almost 3 years ago I returned the laptop I got as a graduation gift and my Dad spotted me the rest to get a Macbook pro (2.4GHz Intel Core Duo). When I first got it I absolutely hated it and just gave it to my dad to use.  I used my PC till it broke down and had to get the Mac back for school. about a year and a half ago. Since then I have dropped it 3 times, and once it feel out of my Jeep while it was on and only got a dent in the corner. There have been several instances where people have spilled beer on it at partys as well.  Never once has this thing given me any sort of trouble. In fact I can run windows off it and it runs faster than my PC.

Why I hated it at first was because I didn't know the operating system at all and it just pissed me off.  I fucking love this thing. Its still fast as hell especially on start, I don't have to worry about viruses, It has all the digital media programs I need for school (and they have been proven to run a lot smoother on a mac), all in all it is just a great machine.

So for all you heavy gamers out there, of course I would say go built a PC. But, for anyone looking for a PC to surf the web and do pretty much all media in a much better, more reliable and faster way, I hands down will recommend a Mac.  Don't knock till you have TRIED it (and tried it thoroughly).  That is all...

General / Post your music library
« on: January 17, 2010, 01:05:48 PM »
This is my entire music library. Its taken quite a long to time to get it all together and it grows just about everyday cause I love discovering new tunes (demonoid aids me with that). I have about 370 artists, and 12,000 songs, which adds up to about 33 days of continuous music... No, I haven't listened to all of them but some day...

If you want to post your library but don't know how, refer to Roshan's post in this thred: http://www.mafiaowns.com/index.php?topic=13030.msg122203#new
