CAD is actually a good skill to learn, lots of companies need engineers that know how to use CAD.

yeah. u build models and stuff, 2d or 3d models. pretty cool. don't they have a programming class?

not really... there is one, but its just working with Word. And there is one class for 11th grade where they teach C++ and my keyboarding teacher last year said i already no what they teach there.

I took drafting 1 and 2 in middle school. it was an okay class where you draw simple and complex objects.  party, i wouldn't take it if i were u if u dont like going into detailed drawings on a 3d scale.  you also build your design and so it's kinda cool.
I built two mini wood dragsters powered by co2 cartridges, and a plane.

Its sooo boring, I took autocad in highschool unless it is a blowoff course like it was at my school don't take it.  I used to just play games on the computer all day in it.
