3DMARK Score 14925
« on: September 03, 2008, 07:07:29 PM »

I thought I would come in a little higher as my old system in it's prime clocked in the 12k range.  How does this score rank?

Damn, you got the GeForce 260. That's some good power right there. The 6 series nForce motherboards are really good. I'm not too sure about your score as I have never done a 3DMark test, but you have some really good components.  Quad-Core CPU sounds awesome and I bet it performs that way too!

PS_VGA - Is that a separate PSU for your video card?

You should think of getting a good Creative Soundblaster audio card. Trust me, compared to on-board sound, it really makes a big difference if you have the right speakers.

fuck you maggot i dont keep up with shit.

quad core? lol are you running enterprise calculation software? so you are about 3gz on 99.9% of what you run "snickers" 4gb system memory? i have 2gb and have yet to find a way to max it out, to much memory in winjunk means more memory dumps :D

happy under running, and bottlenecking. :D

Hey Roshan. You are correct, I have separate power supplies for my PC and VGA card. I need a bigger power strip now.  As far as sound goes I use a Shark EXSOUND surround sound Head set.  It requires you uninstall any audio drivers, or in my case disable my AC_97 in the BIOS to work. Nice set though, has high, mid and subs speakers in each ear piece. Tks for the tip though. As for the Ram overkill, if it turns into a problem I could always pull 2 gig. This is a 10 year machine and I was preparing for the futrue when I may need it.

If you wanna send that "old system" over my way that would be very much appreciated.
