I got my copy from Steam.  It pops up and gives you a beta key when you run the demo.  No hassle at all.

Add me.  My name is [HG] NOMNOM, and I have to agree, the game is extremely well done.  The XP leveling system feels like it gives you something to work for, without being frustratingly spread out.
