Problem

I put in battlefield 1942 when its done loading i press internet to play online but then the game freezes what should i do?

Try again... There was (maybe still is) a problem with the GameSpy servers (that is the server your game uses to find BF42 games), so when those servers have problems that will lock up your game when in the server browser.

I've been using the following program for years to load up Battlefield, you basically type the name of the server or search for servers by a particular variable and click find. For *MAFIA* naturally type 'mafia', foxes, sol, e.t.c will also work this way. When you click on 'Yes' on the window that comes up listing the server it will load of Battlefield right into the Map Load screen bypassing all the intro vids.

this is some thing to do with that dutch fag mathy money on it.
if i rember right he hacked the game spy severs  :shoot: looks like hes back.

It was a nation-wide lag hack, but they have fixed the problem.  You should be able to join servers "normally" again.
