Cant wait till BF3, its gonna be Awesome, Jets return, finally a Game using my PCs Potential, PC Optimized, 64 Players, Sniping with Skill  ;D

I will not buy this on EA Origin. I will wait for it to come out on Steam. Eventually, I will cave in and just buy it anyways.

Haha.  Origin actually isn't a bad program at all.  Yeah, it's obnoxious that we need to have it, but it's not bad in itself.  BF 3 is definitely worth having Origin running.

If you guys want a reference point, on the alpha my rig (i7 920, 3.5ghz, gtx 570 stock clocks, 6gb ram) was sustaining about 50-60 fps with the beta nvidia drivers.  The game was running at 1080p with the alpha settings cranked up.  The alpha had limited graphical settings compared to the final game though, so the real game will be more intense (on max settings), but there should be some further optimization by the time the game comes out.
