Soooo I decided to make a thread about it. What is your view on it? I think its okay for cancer patients to pass away in peace from a morphine OD.

I'm for it, but only for people with terminal illnesses.

This actually reminds me of a dexter episode. Where the nurse with the morphine syringe wants to kill aaaaaaaall the terminal patients

Ha a tread bout my link, impressive !

Im a geriatric nurse so thats a theme i have to deal with every day

Euthanasia is not allowed in germany but itz allowed in netherlands since 2001, in belgium since 2002 and in Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since 2009 also in the us state Oregon since 1997 and in the us state washington since 2009.

I think no one should die painfull.
We just have 2 people that fight between live and dead a long time now -> 1 woman which cant tell anything, cant eat and cant drink anymore, her eyes are closed and thats how she "lives" since a few years now... i do not want to live like that.
the second one is a men, he got testicle cancer and he cant get of the bed anymore, cant eat/drink by himself, cant go to the toilet alone anymore and hes only 56years old ! he gets 28 milligram morphine intravenously 3 times a day + everytime when he has pain.

Thats just 2 of a lot but we disgues at work a lot bout euthanasia and the pro´s and contra´s of it.

let the teasing comments rain !

A person who is mentally ill has bad judging power, what makes it right for them to kill themselves when they can be treated by psychiatrists and medical care?

I didn't say it is right for them to kill themselves when they could receive treatment instead...

I'm saying it's not a decision we have a say in, whether or not someone is allowed to kill themselves.

I believe if God intended you to die horribly and painfully then we should enhance the pain of the victim and prolong it for aslong as possible not let them escape from his wrath. Strap them down so they can't move and cut their toes off and stuff.
