I know this might seem really ridiculous to some but hopefully more eye opening to others.  Nevertheless, I’m starting to believe that December 2012 doesn’t really have an apocalyptic fairytale to it, but more of a revolution to it. The world as we knew it will inevitably end and our eyes will be opened to the truths of the universe as a new world begins. This is just my view point. Any thoughts or comments?

I don't really believe there are any laws to physics apart from the inevitability of development.
"The speed of light" is just like the speed of sound was to people 50 years ago. We see stars from here exploding hundreds of years ago like the belated sound from a gunshot to hearing the impact a mile away.
We have jets now that break the sound barrier everyday.
Now nature has shown us that its possible to fold and tear holes in space. I see good things ahead for faster than light travel.
