I recommend "Nerd v4.0" it has all the goodies even comes with free phone a nerd support thats right you get to call a live nerd for help hell never know it could even be rahl you talk to! :D

Linux or BSD...MAC OSX is BSD based, however NETBSD, FreeBSD, and OpenBSD are all GNU public free software.

Linux is much more userfriendly as a desktop (excluding mac OSX, which isnt real BSD anymore anyways).

What do you want to do with your *nix machine?

Thats good, linux would keep your donkey porn safe from prying eyes, add a boot password, encrypt your files on their own encrypted partition, its all possible.

hmm... really... well mostly it would be to try it out right now since i never have, and if better than windows who knows maybe switch over completely. microsoft works isnt a program it's a contradiction.
