ya i looked at the ratings that they gave it good for two of them and one didn't like it. so two out of three isn't bad, what brand would you guys say was good.

I prefer Western Digital, Seagate or Maxtor.  I have quite a few Maxtors and for the price they are reliable.

Well do you want an external or internal Hd?  I would personally go with something that shoots 10,000 RPM's as one with just some GB, and then plug in another hardrive that doesn't have to work so fast with lots of memory.
