Possible Virus?
« on: March 24, 2006, 12:52:19 PM »

Check this out and tell me if this is normal. I noticed my "regedit" function stopped working a while back. So I tried the "command" and run dos and this is what I got...

See how is says .com after command. Anyone have any clue as to what this is and what I can do about it? Im not having any other computer problems other than this and my gay broadband provider...

Command.com is the dos interperter its needed for the cpu to read dos. Goes way back to the old dos days but its ok.

If you have porn and crap popping up you either have windows messenger active in the services or you have some spyware. Viruses dont do popups they either kill files or alter them.

yeah but when I do regedit or any kinda command from it it just kills dos. I wanted to check my ping and it killed it...I wanted to run regedit and it died. Any idea? Or any free programs anyone has I could use to get rid of it.

yea you guys have the problem that i had and it really fucks with me... go to C:/windows/system 32

if the system 32 is not visible then you have a virus that is fucking with EVERYTHING in that folder... including command prompt and many other dos based programs and essentials to your computer

system restore did NOT work and it hardly ever works and i hate doing it because in my opinion it makes everything worse

i reformatted and reinstalled windows and am careful of what shit is on my comp

Ok so I got the new AVG software and scanned it. But after it finished...I had 148 objects....but then it said that it could not heal any of them. Is this normal? And if so then wtf is a virus program supposed to do?

OK I WILL SOLVE SUSIES PROBLEM FIRST

explanation : susie you have what is know as a smitrem virus/and or spyware

ok first of all find a cracked version of nod32 most likely from the appz area of this forum (make an account) http://www.warez-bb.org

now that you have nod32 unninstall your old antivirus and install nod32 and DO NOT RESTART after installing nod32 run the patch that comes with it and direct it to the c/ program/ files/ eset folder NOW RESTART

after nod32 has been updated now it is time to go to work ok first of all you are going to make your own little antivirus program by writing a batch file

 Open Notepad

Copy these lines and paste to the notepad

sc stop navapsvc
sc delete navapsvc
sc stop SBService
sc delete SBService
sc stop SNDSrvc
sc delete SNDSrvc
sc stop ZESOFT
sc delete ZESOFT

Save the document to the desktop as Removal.bat and file type: All Files
Go to your desktop, run the file Removal.bat and answer yes to any questions

Go to Control Panel -> Add or remove programs -> Remove DyFuCa, CashBack, BargainBuddy, Windows AdControl, WebRebates
myweb and mysearch if found

Download  ATF Cleaner by Atribune to your desktop -> http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1
Do NOT run yet

Download  smitrem
http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/click%20counter/click.php?id=1
Save to desktop, Don't run yet now restart your computer into safe mode by continously hitting the f8 button while it is starting  then choose the option to start windows in safe mode once it starts up
Open the smitrem folder on your desktop and doubleclick runthis.bat. Follow the instructions after that is done open nod32 antivirus click on NOD32  in the menu and select run in depth analysis and delete every file that it shows as a virus when that is done....STOP WATCHING PORN!!!!!!!!

Oh and for everyone else i would highly suggest getting nod32 it is the best antivirus you can find on the net and it has the smallest footprint on your system resources
