damn, i was gone for the weekend, just read this.... Tool is NOT about teen angst, the song I showed you was one of their hardest songs, I just like it because it represents Maynard's(lead singer) contempt for most people and LA in particular... Teen angst is for bands like HIM and other crap. Obviously everyone has their opinions but to say the Maynard has a terrible voice is dead wrong. The man can sing beautifully, and I have timed him; he can hold a scream for more than 15 secs! May not seem like much but that is alot. Also, in case you guys didn't know, he's also the lead singer of the softer band A Perfect Circle. I don't like it that much(too soft for me) but they have some kickass songs, such as Judith, and the beautiful cover song of John Lennon's Imagine. By the way, Wasserfaller, 46&2 is on the same album as the song I showed you guys. Aenima is the title track of the album Aenima, and 46&2 is on it. And yes, they did come out with a new album called 10,000 days on May 2nd, to tell the truth it sucked. Not enough rock and too many subliminal messages. Aenima was, unfortunately, the height of their career. After that they became too spiritual and hard to follow. Not in any religious way, but im sure you can understand. Still.... It IS nice to listen to stuff like that when your high...
