ok so i was watching the military channel and the were doing best war aircrafts u wont believe what came in first(it suprised the hell out of me).............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .............. .....the mustang it was a quite suprise that a world war 2 fight got first and it happens to be some of ur guys favorite plane in battlefield 1942

Uh i think that plane is the most used on any server. I think most of *MAFIA* prefer it ( if there aren't *MAFIA* only planea), Besides Missa.

That surprised you? The Mustang was by far the best fighter plane of its time. It was revolutionary. I cant wait to see the F-35 in action. Look it up. Fly as fast and as agile as the F-16 and can do vertical take off like the harrier. Sweet.

I saw a thing on the history channel about the harrier, it's actually a very poorley made jet. It's verticle take off system causes alot of deaths, more die from the verticle take off then in combat. Pretty sad, they should get a jet that's able to fly first. If they're able to improve it though it would be quite an impressive vehicle.

btw, german jets pwn mustangs, they invented the first verticle take-off jet over 60 years ago.

I saw a harrier last year, at the airforce show, that think makes a shit load of noise when it takes off! I hope the F-35 doesn't do that lol.

The F35 is cool but it was designed to be used by all 4 branches of the military.  this was to cut the cost of having a unique plane for every branch.  It is very cool.  The vertical take off is an option for the Marines version of the F35.  For planes in the 1940's I think the MIG-15 was one of the best planes.  It dominated speed and handeling at low altitude.
